How far in advance do I need to place my order?
For custom cakes with fondant and custom designs, we require one week advance notice. Cakes from our standard menu require 48-72 hours notice, depending on the season. We recommend placing your order as soon as you have your event details confirmed. Once a weekend is fully booked, we are unable to accommodate additional orders. Larger or more elaborate designs should be ordered 2-4 weeks in advance to ensure proper preparation time. Last-minute orders may be available based on capacity. All orders require a deposit to confirm your booking.
How do I place an order?
All orders are placed and completed online through our website. Since we have multiple locations, ordering online helps us stay organized. For custom cakes and wedding cakes, please submit an inquiry through our online request form.
Do you offer cake tastings?
Yes! We offer take-home cake tastings because we believe you should slow down during wedding planning, enjoy each other’s company, taste cake, and relax. After your tasting, we’ll follow up with a virtual call to discuss your vision.
Can I request a custom design?
Yes. Custom designs require one week advance notice. You can upload cake photos or invitations for inspiration when submitting your request through the “Custom – Made to Order” button on our website.
Is there a minimum order for custom items?
Custom cookies and cupcakes have an 18-piece minimum order, but feel free to reach out—we’re always happy to discuss your needs.
Can I make changes to my order?
Changes can be made up to one week before your pickup date for smaller orders. For larger orders and wedding cakes, we require two weeks notice for any changes.
Do your products contain nuts?
We use nuts on-site but offer nut-free options for schools and events. Please let us know your requirements when placing your order.
Do you offer gluten-free or vegan options?
Yes. We offer gluten-free items and vegan items. We do not currently offer a fully gluten-free and vegan cake, but we can create a gluten-free cake with vegan buttercream.
How do I care for my sweets before my event?
Cakes should be refrigerated and removed approximately one hour before serving. Cupcakes may be kept at room temperature if consumed the same day. For longer storage, freeze cupcakes and remove them 2-3 hours before serving. Macarons should be wrapped and frozen if not being consumed within a few days, then allowed to reach room temperature for one hour before serving.
Do you offer baking classes?
Yes. We offer kids’ baking classes on weekday evenings and twice on Saturdays. Please fill out our online inquiry form to request class information and availability.
How to Cut Your Cake Like a Pro
For clean, even slices, start by cutting 1 inch in from the edge straight down the middle of your cake. Fully remove and serve this first 1-inch slice before making the next cut. Continue cutting 1-inch sections, removing each slice completely before moving on. This method keeps your portions neat and your cake looking beautiful for every serve.
